I want to be able to disable the PC 2 PC function somehow.... I think it's messing up Windows XP. (i get bsod's for no apparent reason every 3 to 10 hours) I am seriously thinking about going back to 2000 😉. If anyone has any ideas, I would be greatful. If you need to know my system specs, have a look at my rigs page.
 
Since it works like a network adapter, all I did was "disable" it like you can with a network card.

that seemed to work fine for me, it's a real Pain in the arse though, kind of dumb how you can't disable VIA jumper or BIOS. (maybe you can?? I don't know!)

try disabling the adapter...
 
I just did 😉 hopefully that helps. This seems to be a nice board except for this. I think that the drivers for the PC 2 PC thing aren't compatible with XP, since this board was solid as a rock in 2k pro. I emailed MSI to try and get them to release a bios that allows you to disable it. You might want to do the same. support@msi.com.tw
