k7t Pro2 bios issue

Last night I was playing Tactical Ops 2.0 (this also happened with 1.6) and I locked up to a blue screen saying something about IO error not handled (can't remember). Well hit reset and not much happened. Computer would not boot. Tried clearing the cmos since this is what fixed it the last time. Nothing. Removed battery, let sit for about 1/2 hour. Posted to finding all drives then gave checksum mismatch error goto bios... Hit del, then blank screen and annoying whining from the speaker. Hit reset then back to the nothing...

Any clues? Last time this happened I thought the MoBo was bad so I took it in. They told me they simply cleared the cmos. I thought that was funny since I know I tried that.

Flash your bios with the newest rev. and set optimal settings (its on the upper right side of the main screen in the bios after flash). Is this the DDR board? If this is the 266pro then the bios is most likely the prob. What kind of video card, does it have the latest drivers? Have you updated the mother board chpset drivers etc?
