k7t pro2 BAD FLASH

HELP!!!

I have a msi k7t pro2 and I ran the dos flash utility in Windows. It froze my comp and when I restart, blank screen and beep code: 3 medium beeps and then continuous high-pitch fast beeps. MSI has instructions on their website on how to deal with this, but it requires booting from the floppy. I can't boot from the floppy! I (used to) have an award bios. What should I do? All I can think of is to use this place I found that can flash a chip for $15. That's some money, plus I have to wait a long time without my comp for the chip to get to them and then back to me. Isn't there a better way?!?!??

Call MSI, the phone number is on their website. They will send you a new bios chip for free if you tell them you were using their LiveBios program and the flash went bad. Larry the tech I talked to just asked for a mailing address and said he'd 2-Day it to me. Of course that was on Tuesday and I'm still waiting... WWW.Badflash.com will flash a chip with the latest update and send it to you for $23.00. It's probably going to cost you $3.00 to send it to him plus another 4-5 days of downtime on top of the return shipping so why not just have him send a new one. I ordered one from Badflash before I found out MSI would send one for free and now I'm actually glad I did. That one actually came in 3 days as advertised... And now I got an extra just in case.
