K7T Pro2 A can't get 10X ? GOT IT

Just set up new rig with mobo from John,and 650 Duron from Compuwiz1, THANKS guys.
Flashed to the OC bios to get 1.85V, but it won't boot at 10x. 9.5x and all others are no problem. Temps in bios are mobo 21/cpu 34.
I'm thinking it is some setting in the bios that I have wrong, any ideas.
Steve tested this Duron @ 1000 so I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong.
What am I missing ??

Unlock the L7's. I bought my Duron 800@1000 and it wouldn't do 10x100 but it would do 101x10 at 1.85 volts. So I closed two L7 bridges (the others were closes to begin with) and all is fine. Even with the BIOS setting at 1.85 it doesn't start up the cpu at the higher voltage... unlocking the L7's will tell the cpu to run at 1.85. Later on you can lower this in the BIOS... but not occur the same problem.

L7s are unlocked, Steve took care of this. I'm getting the voltage in fact the MSI software for monitoring voltage etc: reads 1.93 cpu volts.
Still reading to book and trying to make sense of all the settings.

This is a common trait of the PRO 2A,some have it some don't,mine didn't.

I got it to a gig. Read this somewhere last nite. Set it to 10x and saved, then shut down. When I cold booted it after work 2 min ago it fired right up at 1000. I like it. don't know what will happen when I shut down, but I'm going to play with it for a while.

Well I did a bit of maint, defraged,and ran system file checker etc: restarted and all is well at 1000mhz. So why wouldn't it go at 10x on a warm boot yesterday ??

So what did you do besides the random maintenance? I tried every setting in my BIOS and in Windows and the only solution that worked was closing the L7's. Curious as to hat was holding you back.

I set the multipier to 10 and voltage to 1.85, F10 to save the changes, and before it booted up I shut it down. When I started it after work it booted right up at 1000.
I saw this tip last nite, and didn't read all of it so I'm not sure what the issue is. But it worked for me,like it had to load 10x from a good rest? I don't understand it, but it works.
I could always see the 10x 10.5 option and all the rest, it just wouldn't boot when I picked anything over 9.5 I'm looking for the post, belive it was on this board.

Okay thanks. I look into it. Mine would warm boot fine over and over but when I shut down and cold booted it wouldn't POST.
