K7S5A Video Problem on Cold Boot

Here's the system setup:

ECS K7S5A (100/133 mem)
Duron 1.0GHz
256MB Crucial DDR @ 266FSB CL2.5
Memory timings all on the "slow" side
geForce2 MX AGP 32MB (Dell)
350W AMD approved PSU

On an initial cold boot (just plugged in) the system boots, video comes up, everything is peachy.
Start-Shut Down. Power off.

Now, if at this point I unplug and replug the system, it will work as described above. If I don't, however, the system will boot, display no video, and within about five seconds reboot itself (as evidenced by the DVD drive/HD lights blinking)

Help!

Put the memory at 100/100 with the CPU. In my quickie tests on my K7S5A, this actually performs better than 100/133! :D

Right ... since the CPU is running at 2x 100, there is no gain in using DDR RAM at 2x 133 - the extra bandwidth is not used, and the async operation adds to the access latency, so 100/133 with DDR memory actually is slower than 100/100. With SDR RAM, 100/133 is faster because the CPU can use the extra bandwidth.
