K7S5A users having problem from BIOS upgrade?

Hi, I just got my K7 + Xp1700 combo tonight and its been running like a champ (on w2k pro)

Ive heard some cautions about this procedure... im knocking on wood here because its doing great for me and I dont want to "fix it if it ain't broke", if you know what im saying ; i just want the latest of everything =\

that's good advice, since you just got it the bios should be new enough to have the fix for the win2k floppy data corruption issue already, in fact it most likely dosen't even need to be flashed for the XP2000+ so relax and enjoy your new toys
