K7S5A questions.....need help asap...

Howdy guys....building my first system and have a couple of questions. As it stands, the case I ordered didn't come with any instructions, so I'm not sure about some of the wires going to the mb. I have three sets of wires bundled together, labelled "power led", "h.d.d. led", and "reset sw".

In the k7s5a manual, it states to "connect the case switches and indicator LED's to the SW1 header". However, I can't find this header, and below this statement, there's a diagram of the FP1 header. Should I be connecting the three aforementioned case wires to the FP1 header?

Secondly, the power LED is three pronged, made of hard plastic and IIRC, this is the one that has to be altered with the k7s5a mb. Is this correct, and if so, what's the best way to alter it?

Lastly, my case has one more wire by itself labelled "power sw". Does this connect to FP1 header??

Since I am currently at a standstill in the building process (don't want to take any chances), any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated...

The motherboard documentation should have a blow-up of the appropriate pin group. The motherboard should also have them marked in very small letters.

You can move the individual female connectors to different sockets by gently lifting the black plastic slat that holds it in place and pulling on the wire. This does not take a lot of force, but you'll need something thin to get underneat the slat. The loose connector can then be pushed into another socket, where it will click into place.

The power switch connector is on the same header as the the reset and LEDs.

Don't have your board, but I looked at the manual.
I've used a straight pin to help me disassemble those connectors that have 3 pins when you need two. Just carefully work the wires out of the plastic housing and replace them (actually, just need to do one) so that they are next to one another in the connector, then plug the connector to the header FP1 so that the pins connect as needed . Sounds more complicated than it is. Yes, the power button goes to the power switch (Pins 6,8)

Also, isn't this the board with the CMOS jumper shipped in the wrong position sometimes? Make sure JP4 has the jumper on pins 2 and 3 for "normal" operation.

 
Thanks for the help guys....I moved the wire over one slot for the power led, and checked the cmos jumper. Yes, this is the board with the incorrect jumper setting (sometimes), and there was an addendum to the manual mentioning to check the cmos jumper....
