Hello,

I grabbed today a K7S5A/XP1800+ cheap combo to get a bit familiar with AMD's (didn't have one yet) before I'll shell out bigger $$$ for fast & loaded AMD setup. I took some PC133 RAM (512MB) and also PC2700 (Corsair); just loading Win2k (with PC133 in the system) .. while SiS735 won't support PC2700, would it be possible to use this RAM as DDR266? I mean, would it boot or not; or could any damage occur?

if the board doesn't support PC2700, then it should just downclock to PC2100. No problemo dude 😉
