K7S5A question

Hello,

I grabbed today a K7S5A/XP1800+ cheap combo to get a bit familiar with AMD's (didn't have one yet) before I'll shell out bigger $$$ for fast & loaded AMD setup. I took some PC133 RAM (512MB) and also PC2700 (Corsair); just loading Win2k (with PC133 in the system) .. while SiS735 won't support PC2700, would it be possible to use this RAM as DDR266? I mean, would it boot or not; or could any damage occur?

if the board doesn't support PC2700, then it should just downclock to PC2100. No problemo dude

OK, I'll put the DDR2700 in then on the next occasion.
