Trying to get my new mobo to run. processor, stick of ram, and vid card in the mobo. When I push the power supply the fan starts then shuts down immediately. What the heck. Checked the case reset, power, hard drive led connectors and they seem to be fine😕😛
any tips appreciated
 
double checked front panel connector duron 1100 no other socket a board to test cpu tested ram ok tested vid card ok

is the clear cmos jumper set to normal or clear?

just have the cpu & HSF, ram and video card hooked up to the board and nothing else and then see if you get a boot screen.
 
Cpu fan hooked up and it starts for a second then shuts down. No boot screen only ram vid card cpu and fan hooked (no mouse or keyboard) as soon as I push the power button she starts then goes down right away grrrrr no beep codes
any body have this happen to them?
 
Are you sure there isn't a gap between the core and the HS? And I'd check the CMOS jumper like Iron Woode said previously.
