I have had several of these boards, and they all had board revisions on them. This one does NOT ! It has bios dated 8/27/2001, thats all I know about it, and after searching the web, it looked like it might be revision 1.1 So I downloaded the bios, and the aminf341 and the 30811 bios, but when I run it, it says bios file wrong size... Anyway, what version pcb do you think it is ? The bios chip has one sticker that says K7S5A and below that 104. Then another sticker that has something like 686 bios AX58 and below that 0650. It works, but doesn;t recognise the XP1700 correctly, and I worry that the voltages may be wrong for it.

Double-check the MB - I have a K7S5A Pro that shows revision in two places: Immediately below the model number (above the AGP slot), and along the edge of the board by the last PCI slot.

You might also want to check the bus speed in the bios. My K7S5a defaults to 100/100 MHz and it doesn't recognize the 1700 xp correctly until I set for 133/133 MHz.
