I have the K7S5A 1.0/1.0A and according to ECS website this dont support the Athlon XP processor.
Does anybody with sucess run that processsor on that kind of board?
I want to upgrade with a new CPU...

I am running K7S5A perfectly with Athlon XP 1700+
Don't know what version my board is though...my only suggestion is to update to the latest bios
 
just had my friend coming and asking me to help him building new computer, while doing the installation I replaced my Duron 800 with his brand new AthlonXP 1700+ in my K7S5A mobo, Voila !!!!!... it works without any error, the BIOS automatically detected the CPU with setting 133/133. Gotta reduce my beer and cigarette consumption to buy this Athlon XP for me...😛.
