I reloaded my OS after running my K7S5A for a few weeks as a simple "transplant" in Win ME.
I've reverted to Win 98SE (which previously I found to be the worst M$ OS ever!)
Just a couple of minor issues at present though.
When I boot up I get a small error window as Im going into the desktop - GetFileName?
I've never seen this error before at all.
Also when I boot up in normal mode I have 511MB of SDRAM although the RAM count in the boot screen shows the full amount. If I boot in safe mode I get 512MB in windows??? Some driver seems to be "taking" 1MB of RAM? Could this be due to installing the LAN?
The system works fine as is stable though - no complaints there at all.
I'm not sure if it is as "snappy" as my KT7A though with all the tweaking?
