K7S5A 2 pin and 3 pin Power LED from case..how do I??

How do you make the 2 pin connection on the K7S5A mobo accept the connection of the 3 pin connector from the case. The 3 pin receptor has a green wire on one end and a white wire on the other end and no wire in the middle...so therefore one of the wires is not even making a connection. I have 2 different cases that have the exact same Power LED pin connection. Any ideas would be appeciated.

as an alternative to cutting, turn the LED connector from the case upside down so that you see three golden clips. press down on the third one and slide out the cable that is unable to connect as you have it set up. then slip it back into the second (open) slot. now instead of X-0-X you have 0-X-X which should work.

Thanks guys...right after I posted this I noticed we have motherboard forum and saw both your responses in another thread...now, why didn't I think of it...duh!!!
