K7Pro Not reading cdroms

I just burned a copy of a game in my burner. That same burner freezes and even caused a bsod when trying to install the same very game. My dvd drive freezes when trying to read it. The burner doesn't like to read many cds at all, but the dvd drive is usually good about it. My previous burner and previous cdrom drive had similar problems about responding and not responding randomly. Is there any sort of driver install or fix for this? I have the latest drivers from MSI's website, although the AMD751win2k drivers don't install because it complains about rundll32.exe not being in winnt or something. Any suggestions?
