I am going to get a new video card and the only requirement is TV-Out(not S-Video the other type) I use my computer for gaming, internet and general college use!!!!! Here is what I was thinking but I have a Asus K7M motherboard with a Athlon 500!!! I thought I read somewhere that K7M doesn't like Geforces is this true or false????:
MSI G2Ti PRO-VT (MS-8836) GEFORCE2 TI 64MB DDR 4 X AGP ($120)(Don't know if it has other than S-Video)
or
MSI STARFORCE 820 GEFORCE2 GTS 32MB DDR 4X/2X AGP W/TV- OUT ($97)(Don't know if it has other than S-Video)
or
MSI MX-400 PRO- TC64S GEFORCE2 MX400 PRO - TC64S 64MB SDRAM WITH TV-OUT S- VIDEO AV-OUT 4X/2X AGP($78)
or
ATI Radeon 7500 64MB DDR AGP OEM ($136)(Don't know if it has other than S-Video)

Also does all S-Video out cards come with a converter to go to the other type of plug(don't know what its called).
I am open to suggests, I was trying to stay around $100 because I am a college student but if the features out way the price I am willing to pay a little extra!!! Let me know what to think I might be upgrading my system in a couple of months. But I don't want to wait!!!

Not just the K7M, but all early motherboards based out of the AMD 750 Irongate chipset. There a flaw in the design that resulted in a strobe glitch with the GeForce series of cards. This problem was later (supposedly) fixed in later revisions of the AMD 750, but the bulk the motherboards out there are of the older variety. The AMD Irongate and GeForce came out at roughly the same time so there was no way either party could have fully tested for this.

This glitch with the AGP resulted in freezes or lockups whenever running any 3D intensive app or game. Because this was a hardware issue, it could not corrected via a BIOS upgrade. The work-around was/is to run the card at 1x AGP vice 2x AGP. nVidia's drivers should automatically detect your chipset an set the AGP setting to the appropriate setting. Now this would have been fine (since the difference between 1x and 2x AGP is not drastic), however sometimes the work-around would not help eleviate the problem. Some motherboards still froze or locked up no matter what setting the AGP was (my old K7M did that).

The only way to be sure is to run the card for an extensive period and see if it gives you any problems. If it does, you need either a new card or a new motherboard.

So basically its a one of those hit and miss things. And since I got the K7M as soon as it came out I probably have an old one that mostlikely won't support it. So could I use a Kyro in it? What are your suggests for a video card?

I have the same board and Chip and have never had a problem with my Asus V6600 Geforce 32. When I bought the board there were issues which could be resolved with board by using a Asus Geforce card.
