K7M Users: Do u use SB Live Value?(need help)

´m trying to find out the cause for 3dMark2000
Lockups under Win98. The machine is an Athlon 600,
Asus K7M Mainboard and SB Live Value sound card.

The soundcard works fine in a different Celerey system, so I know it´s ok. The Lockups also occur
infrequently while gaming, but the 3dMark 2000 Loop is SURE to not go through even once!

I dont know if this will help you, but I just went through the same problem for three months trouble shooting a consistant problem of my machine locking up on startup. It turned out to be the SB16 dos drivers causing the problem. removing them from Config.sis and autoexec.bat cured the problem. You may want to look into this, if your unaware of this issue with the SBlive, I wasnt untill this weekend when another forum member told me about this issue last weekend.
