It says "No AC97 codec found on this computer" whenever I try to install the VIA sound. I went into the bios and checked, it was checked "Auto" and I enabled "Legacy Sound".

How do I get this to work? DId I get the right driver?> (AC97 1.20A?)
 
If u installed the driver & u still get those probs...I think it's a wrong driver.

1. Enabled the AC sound in the bios.
2. Install the driver. Reboot.

Then it should be OK. Check the CD s/ware tht comes w/ ur mobo. It sound contain the correct driver.
