Anybody watch this stuff. I'm a big UFC fan but today I was bored and started watching this K1 stuff and it's pretty bad ass. It is all stand up fighting and these guys are good. I'd like to see some of the UFC strikers in there with these guys. What's the general thought out there as far as where the best strikers in the world are? It's bad ass seeing some heavyweights with some unreal striking. :awe:

A lot of former and a few current fighters in the UFC have fought in K1 from time to time, Mirko Crocop had some fights there. A lot of Pride guys would jump from K1 to Pride events as well. Some awesome K1 clips, some of the fights are cans but others are good to watch, Mirko v Bob Sapp comes to mind (Crocop kicks Sapp in the body so hard he falls over and verbally quits)

Sure about that? I remember Crocop breaking his orbital bone with a punch.

WOW, I just rewatched that, I seen it in a highlight reel floating around and I guess I was paying too much attention to his left body kick. I assumed he was wincing in pain from that and falling over.. Nasty.

you are correct, it was a punch that ended that match. Sapp was rolling around yelling, I don't blame him cos I don't care how bad ass you are, and how many fights you've been in. Getting your Orbital Bone broken has to hurt like a sunnoabitch.
