The following MultiX and TrueX drives are NOT Windows XP and 2000 compatible.

UCR421 (72X) (MY DRIVE!)
etc..
etc..

So I pulled my old 72x True Cdrom out of the closet and tried to use it since I just busted my plextor?
Anyone have any experience with these? Know how to get them to work in Xp? OR.. know about any deals I can make with Kenwood?

Also my busted Plextor, how good is plextor at taking drives back? Fees? Should I buy a new one? Replacement Cost?

Also, if no solutions to any of this? Does anyone know if they still have those lite-on deals going? and if so how cheap?!?!

Plz help! :-O

plextor is usually good about returns from what i hear

liteons 48x drive can be had for 59.00 before shipping at newegg
