k need help on a proc and socket...

I have an AMD duron at 800 mhz. And I would love to overclock it to 1 ghz. BUT I want to put the proc on another AMD motherboard. But it needs the socket. I have the socket. But on a different amd motherboard. My question is... is it possible to take off the socket for the amd duron and put it on the other amd motherboard???
 
It is possible if you're an expert electrical engineer with good sodering skills. Not possible for everyone else.
You *really* need to know what you're doing if you're going to do that.

~All of this is assuming you can recongnize basic PC parts and their differences.~
