Palm Bay, FL - Malabar Road Store...

Cards & wrap 50% off... 10% most everything else. Good deals are when you take a 1/2 price clearance item and get an additional 10% off.

They didn't really remove much - tv's, video games, cd's, dvd's are all still in the store. They did bring in a TON of furniture, bikes, and CHRISTMAS TREES (?!??).

I picked up that Nickelodeon kids mic/software thing for $17.00... pretty cool.

Any ideas when the 20% drop will be? Next Saturday?

Sure! I'm happy to look for you! Here you go:

Note: 'jhites' deals (Tv's for super low prices of $30) did not exist.

Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM) earlier today announced that it intends to close 284 under-performing stores as part of its initial Chapter 11 financial objectives review. Following is the list of the individual stores that Kmart has asked the Bankruptcy Court to give final approval at a hearing in Chicago on March 20, 2002.

Here is a link to the Press Release posted earlier this morning. 9:30 Press Release

EDIT::: just go to yahoo.com business for complete list!

:::just a guess!!!

Yep... Palm Bay... I don't want anyone stealing my 10% off Beef Jerky! :)

Some of the people here are flat out lazy at times. I'm sorry for requesting they find the info
for themselves. 'Murf300' knew to check the forum for the list of closing stores... I forget that some
people do not know how to use the forum --... sorry.

..... So far, the K-Mart in BrighamCity, UT is only offering 10% off lowest marked price, but i'm sure that will change as time passes.

WooHoo 10%. Sounds more like they are making their best attempt at competing with Wal-Mart than trying to liquidate stock. I guess we'll see what happens in the months to come.

Was at one of the stores closing in south florida. There were signs all up and down the highway-this looks like it's being run by one of those "going out of business" companies-no refunds, no checks, etc. Store was a wreck. Savings? POS!!

Hmmm.....I may run down there and see if they got any PS2's lying around......hopefully, it the place won't be a piranahha tank, where people are biting each other to save a couple dollars.....

I might stop by the first day that they have 30% off and survey the destruction to see if there is anything left worth buying. 10% is a joke (competition with wall-mart like others said). 20% is like 10%, and not really worth my time. 30% is like a 20%, which isn't great, but I might buy something at 30% IF I needed it anyway. Of course, all of the lemmings will buy everything up at regular price + 10% liquidator inflation - 20% off, so there won't be anything left anyway, and the discussion is probably academic. BAH!

I don't think K-marts have had game systems (PS2,PS1,GB,GBA,XBOX,DC) since the holidays.

To the fellow that wanted an example of the savings... If something was $10... it is now $9... If it was $100.... it is now $90. You can multiply the price of the item by .10 and see the savings! Hope this helps!!! That is what everyone ment who said 10% off.
