I have a 1.33 t-bird(factory unlocked) ayhja-y that was rated for 1600 to 1700 ghz. I wasnt expecting near that but all i can get is 1430.
The problem is that i have tested and tweaked this thing for 2 months and i know my fsb limit is 143 and my ram isnt a problem.
The problem is that the multipliers above the stock 10 x fsb(143) make the damn thing lock up windows within a few seconds of windows starting up.
I have been running it at 1430 (143 x 10) stable for the whole summer but if i go to 11 x 133(1430) it locks up. As well as any speed like 11.5 x 127 etc.
So it seems i have found the problem definitively(after i spent big bucks buying new power supplys and then sending them back).
It seems this board doesnt like any multipliers over the stock 10x.
If anyone has heard of this problem and knows a fix i would really appreciate it.
I have flashed the bios to the wz version as reccomended by someone.
So im really open to suggestions.
Please help if you can-i wanna push this baby-by the way cooling is not a problem(gladiator with delta-37 degrees idle and 43 max under load)
Help.
