todays sj mercury news ad has this:

512 MB
184 pin
speed 333MHz
$59.99 - $10(MIR) = $49.99
sku 3594624

i am going to go pick one up tonight.

It is also available at the Houston Fry's - it is on the front page of their ad today, but for $64.99 - $10 MIR

what chips were on them? Infineon samsung? I know on a thread long time back that some RK memory had Samsung chips on em. Might be sizzling if they were.

Going to do that now too. The rebates go to different Depts (Fry's to Dept 39553 and BB to Dept 38030), but the same Niagra Falls PO Box. I picked up 1 stick from both places. After PM and rebates, it should only be around $100 incl. tax for 1GB of PC2700.

Ymmv, but I tried a couple sticks of this ram in my Soyo dragon ultra. With one stick, it wouldn't even boot. With the other, I began getting data corruption. Needless to say, I returned it.

I've never had a problem with k-byte before, but that was pc133 or pc2100, not pc2700.

My system runs beautifully at pc2700 speeds and reasonably aggressive settings with my pny pc2100 with the Samsung "TCB3" chips that OD paid me $17 to buy last year..🙂
