JVC XV-NA70BK: Make it Region 2 friendly?

I just checked videohelp.com and here too http://www.dvddemystifiziert.de/codefree_en/jvc.html but still no Region 2 hack for my Region 1 player. I know it's a cheap player, so why not get a better (BluRay) player. Well, yes, my Cambridge Audio Azur 650BD, is a great universal player-and it plays Region 2 discs. But the sound quality? Trust me, my ears don't lie. The JVC blows away the analog sound quality of the Cambridge. And the Cambridge costs over 6x as much as the JVC! Can anyone suggest a workaround?

why are you using analogue out of your dvd player brd player at all?

Only because I've yet to decide on a high end DAC that I'll be sharing with both players. I hope to decide on that this year. Again, though, the difference in analog quality between these two players is striking. I'd love to know how the DAC chips and analog output stage designs compare.
