i have just got jv16 PowerTools...

I did a registery scan it it came 306 errors(or irrelavent registrys)!

Is this normal for the first time u run it?

Is it perfectly safe to get rid of all these entries?

one more thing....

What is the differebce between the red registerys and green?

Thanks people! 🙂

It should be normal if it's the first time you've run it. Lots of crap builds up in your registry. I'm not sure what the red and green mean. Green might mean "safe to remove." I'm pretty sure it explains the colors somewhere in the program.

I have trusted jv16 Powertools for the past three years, and have never had a problem that I could directly trace to deleting a registry entry that it has marked. Not to say that it is perfect on every machine, but I think it is an excellent program. However, I recommend that it be run only after a program called EasyCleaner 1.7f by ToniArts (easy to find via Google). It is another registry cleaner that I have used for the same amount of time, and sometimes one will get things that the other doesn't pick up. Both have "undo" backups that save your rear in a bind. As for the colors, green means safe to remove as igowerf correctly assumes, and red means take caution when removing. I have had no problem deleting them all. Good luck!
