just won a mobo is it worth whacking a chip in this as a upgrade?

heya's i just won a p4 mobo in a little compitition a pc shop had, is it worth me grabbing a chip and some ddr ram and upgrading to this or sell mobo and stay put?

curret sys : T-bird900 (only clk to 1000 i got it early on :/) , Abit Kt7a mobo , 256 kingmax 133 sdram.

the mobo i won is a VIA p4xb-r

is this mobo ok if i got a 1.6Ghz p4 ? would it oc much if so how far you think?

I'de do it, might as well, you can sell your old setup and get away with a fairly cheap upgrade. 900mhz T-Bird is getting kinna old IMO
 
It's a p4x266a board? I'd dump it. That chipset isn't supposed to be as good as the kt266a or at least not as good as the 845-d. I'd sell it and save the money for something else.
