How can someone do this...a good friend of mine has been going out with his girlfriend for well over a year now. Last Friday was our senior prom. Friday night, after the prom, she cheated on him. I can't believe that...cheating is bad enough, but on freakin prom night? That's so horrible. That pisses me off so much.

I had a friend who once dumped a girl the day before prom. On the other side my fiance dumped her last boyfriend the day after (not because of prom she just met me ) She had been planning to since at the time I had just come home from freshman year at school. Which is better being true and doing it before, or faking the night and doing it after. I think it depends on how long you have been together, but I'd rather spend a meaningless night at prom together than be pissed off cus I wasted all this money. Unless you had a backup... Not that prom is special in any way butI think that if you never experienced it you might wonder what if.

How did she cheat? She had sex with another guy...is that bad enough for ya? The guy is a friend of mine, they from what I saw got along well and he was nice to her and all...and no she did not break up with him beforehand.

Well, technically, she isn't obliged or committed to him.

However, putting aside the technical part, if your friend were a wise guy, he would be rejoicing this happened. He would be rejoicing 'cuz he got to see the true nature of his so-called gf at an early stage.

Now, he would be a true simpleton if he stuck with her despite her true colours. And if he does that but comes whining, then I'm set to stamp him the title "wimp/sissy".

So, let's hope he gets wise here.

Because...on a high school relationship scale, the prom night is like the biggest night you will ever have.
