It was pouring all day today and there were about 5 people waiting for the ps3. Someone brought a recliner and the others were on a bench. They were all sharing a tarp to keep them from getting wet, I then asked how long they have been waiting. Ps3 comes out friday and they have been waiting since monday. Thats some crazy sh!t

Sounds like they're really enforcing those no loitering laws :p.

People actually camp outside, for almost a week on end, in order to purchase a $600 video game?

Dont these people have lives? Who can take an entire week off to pay 600 bucks for a PS3? I see why rich people laugh at these douchebags when they purchase these things for 1500 bucks. The time these guys spent sitting in front of Target , the rich made 10K.

But they LOVE people like you! You're profitable.

They don't care for shoppers like me. I go in with a list, get what's on the list, and leave.:)
The only place I'll browse around at is a grocery store, and I'd better be hungry when I'm shopping, otherwise I'll do my usual shopping routine: get only what's on the list and leave. If I'm not hungry, the thought of buying more food just makes me feel a bit sick.:Q

I would never buy anything perishable at target. Certainly nothing refridgerated either. I have been there a couple times in the snack isle with the milk fridge completely off with product still in it.

Well hes gonna be once he gets his 20 PS3's to sell on ebay. Imagine the costs. $200*20ppl = 4000. Now if a target gets 20 ps3's, think of this. On ebay there going around 2000, and there just gonna keep going up. So lets say he gets 2300 for each ps3. 2300*20=46000-12000-4000. The guy ends up making 30,000 after all the costs of the ps3's and paying for the people to wait for him.

Oh, he's paying those people to buy his PS3s, that's genius. I thought he was paying them to keep him company lol.

Actually I did and contemplated doing something similiar.

However I would only do it if I had a guarantee every PS3 would sell for at least $2,000

It's a nice idea in theory, but let's think about it.

The only stores getting 20 PS3s in the Portland area is Best Buy.

What are the odds this guy will get the first 20 spots? Slim.

I bet there are tents at Best Buy tonight, the 15th.

And whats to keep them from taking the $200 to wait in line and then buy the PS3 themselves ;)
