Just watched Underworld...some random comments ..(spoilers)

I liked the movie overall but I hated how they made the vampires so weak...They didn't stand a chance fighting against werewolves hand to hand. Makes you wonder how they almost exterminated the Lycans in the past with just swords and stuff. And howcome Amelia was so weak if she was an elder? She should have been almost as strong as Victor...

just didn't like how weak the vampires were portrayed as...
 
Just got back from watching it...

I see where you are coming from about the Vampires being weak.

Another thing -- what ever happened to Kraven in the end? Maybe I missed something (cause I was looking at Kate's a$$), but didn't he just walk off right before the big fight between Michael and Victor? Sure he got stabbed in the leg, but did he become a "good guy" just because he told Selene the truth?

I loved how the ending with Selene speaking just goes right into Underworld 2 🙂

Not much of a plot, but worth the $6.50 to see it...

I also wonder why Amelia died off so quickly... being a pure blood/ elder whatever they are called. I wanted to see more of her ;-) damn it.

Victor did mention how Kraven made the covenant weak but yeah it was pretty pathetic how the vampires get there asses handed to them by the warewolves. One thing i found odd why didnt all the warewolves turn , alot of thems stayed in human form and fought.

Ahh well... i was pretty dissapointed i was expecting a tad more from the trailer.


 
only that big negro warewolf was WAY stronger than the vampires, just as victor was way stronger than anything else (cept michael). Once they got propper ammo that didn't just slow them down the vamps were pretty effective...not hand to hand though 🙂

I thought it was rather sweet. It's cool that michael could turn back into his human self cuz if he had to stay gross and leathery skinned all the time I don't think he'd get any nookie no matter how much celine lubbed him.

Yeah, they should. Then maybe vampires would appear weak versus werewolves, like W-W thinks it should be.
 
That was pretty cool how strong Viktor was though... and Michaels strength at the end was great. Kate Beckingsdale or whatever her name is is so hot eh? I enjoyed the movie. I did like how you started off disliking Luscius but then at the end his character makes a complete 180. I thought it was a lot better than I expected it to be, pretty solid character development and plot was enjoyable.
