Just Watched "The Iron Giant."

I remember when it was in theatres, but the trailers I saw just didn't interest me. I just watched it for the first time on the recommendation of various people, and I was impressed. Much more interesting than many of Disney's recent traditionally animated films.

Looked it up on RottenTomatoes and it was very well received. Sadly, it only managed to recoup less than half of its production costs domestically.

If you like animated films and haven't seen this one, check it out.

the guy who directed iron giant was hired to direct the incredibles. I think he did a darn good job with both movies.

It is one of my favorites and I bought the DVD so I could share it with my son.

It was marketed extremely poorly and that is why it performed badly at the box office.

I knew about that before I watched it, and I was skeptical. He did an excellent job, though.

The Iron Giant was probably one of the most underrated movies of all time. I'm not sure if they had a crappy marketing campaign or if some blockbuster washed it out while it was in theaters, but this movie is amazing. The storyline is unique, is very funny, and is guaranteed to make you tear up at the end.

I can't recommend this movie enough for a nice family movie night.

ice age 2 is comin out some time, that should be another good one (ice age 1 was good)
