Probably that 2001 is a predictable science fiction film that he's seen a thousand times before, and it was obvious what was going to happen at the end.

That it was so obvious from the outset that Jack Nicholson

would go mad

in the shining and that it was over acted

Clockwork Orange would just be a load of mental people doing stupid over the top shit to try and shock people into thinking it's a good film.
