I dont think I've had McD's since the movie, and I ate it maybe once in the 6 months before hand.

The one thing it made me change was my pop intake. I used to drink 2 pops a day at work, and at school I used to go through a case (24 cans) a week. Now I drink the rare pop at Taco Bell (cause they are free) once a week or so, and the only other time is w/ rum on the weekends.

The fact that he drank 30 pounds of sugar in a month really made an impression. I have noticed that I will get cravings for it, or if I have a little, I want to drink a lot more. Weird stuff.
 
mmmm mcdonalds, i swear they put something in there thats addicting, if youve ever been addicted to anything, you know the feeling.

ya some are open at 4am, 24hour drives thrus if your in a populated enough area

i hear theres a bunch of people on the mcdonalds diet and some of them came out losing weight(haha) and ya, soda get boring after awhile.... well except for pepsi 🙂

eh well ive always only ordered the diet cola, cola is far worse for u then the burger. ones empty calories, ones not😉
 
I just read something the other day that there's apparently some guy who has eaten a Big Mac every day since 1972, something like 20,000 of them. No other info on him, but that's astounding.

Some of the unhealthiest people out there are skinny. Mostly because they THINK because they are skinny they MUST be healthy.

But I have not eaten McCrap in about 7-8years and am better for it.

I havent had McDs in about 2 years now, somethign about angioplasty makes me not enjoy eating there. I eat at Wendy's once in a while, their junior bacon cheesebrugers arent too bad when you buy em w/o bacon. 340cals 15g fat 6g saturated and 17g of protein. 2 of those make a nice lunch depending on your calorie intake.
 
that guy that eats the big macs doesn't eat the fries, and i think drinks water, so a big mac or 2 a day isn't that bad without the other crap.
 
It's the fries and cola that really put you over the top...

I just wish there was an alternative... My kids LOVE happy meals... They would subsist off of Fries and chicken strips... if I'd let them...

I was thinking you could make some money buying space in vending machines and putting in a couple of rows of ACTUALLY healthy food... Like various unsalted or LIGHTLY salted nuts, Whole grain stuff, dried fruits.. ETC.

2 a day = bad.
One of em alone takes about 48% of your recommended total fat intake (its 600 cal, 33g of fat). It'd be ok to have one maybe once in a while, but definitely not making it part of your food schedule (you can do better than 25g of proten @ 33g of fat)

Let your kids eat at wendys then. Wendys just started adding fruitcups as their side for the kids meal. They also have White milk, choc milk, and something else instead of soda.
 
fruit cups hah...tiny bits of fruit with their nutrients probably mostly gone, and in a load of sugar syrup?😉


happy meals aren't bad, they are still small portions atleast. the mighty kids meals were the stupid bit.

i mean seriously, some people who think they are healthy because they are giving up mcdonalds are just kidding themselves. they go to dennys or outback or whereever else thinking its healthier? hahah ... i mean seriously, u'd have to give up ice cream, pizza...most anything good.

Yea, its called fat. Fat makes things tatse good. When you take the fat out of stuff it also removes the good tatse. That is why stuff like diet ice cream sux.
