Surprisingly, I watched the movie yesterday. Yes, it's her head in the box.

A better question is what were the two sins that were left at the end, and did they represent the deaths of the wife and the killer?

The last two sins were Envy (on the part of Kevin Spacey) and Wrath (as played by Brad Pitt).

And seriously... what else could have been in the box?

Props to biggestmuff on the jealousy --> Envy edit.

I think that's fairly clear, but I'd reword what you said to show that the sins reflected the murders commited by Doe and Mills.

On a side note, I was almost waiting for Gwynth to grab Morgan Freeman's dong in that movie. I know she was rather lonely and didn't have friends in town, but man she sure looked at him as though she wanted to ride him like Sea Biscuit.

As Somerset runs back to Mills and Doe, Doe reveals to Mills that he had visited Tracy after Mills left for work and tried to "play husband." The independently wealthy Doe envied the fruits of a common man's life and is thus guilty of ENVY. Doe then discloses that he killed Tracy and her unborn baby, and it becomes apparent that Mills was unaware of her pregnancy and that the box contains Tracy's severed head.

I suggest you watch simpler movies like Madagascar, and Jackass 2.
