And, know I know what all the fuss was about. It was a great movie. Great acting, great plot, great music, great directing. So whoever started the thread about there not being any good movies anymore, needs to see this movie.

Great movie. I love the scene where hanks and his kid are walking down the streets with all those people, all of them dressed in black.

With the job he had and the people he knows that he works with, his son witnessing the goings-on wouldn't have been alarming?
Stupid. Stupid. STUPID.

it was a good flick
i do think that the cinematographer was trying too hard on every shot.
kinda like, "look how good i am" which he is good, i will give him that, but every shot doesnt have to be the "money shot".
all in all, it was better than most.
8.5/10
and yes its out on dvd.
not sure about special features.

I watched it both in the theater and when it came out on DVD. Truly a very good movie and well worth the $8.50 I paid to see it the first time in the theater.

The special features are Directory Comentary, Deleted sceans, HBO making of the movie. Those are the main ones at least

Yep great movie, great all around acting and breathtaking cinematography (was nice to see it win)

yuck... if you read the book (graphic novel) you'd be disappointed. The movie was totally boring in comparison, and I'm not talking strictly about the missing "over the top" violence of the novel vs. the movie. I guess if you didn't read the book it could be OK.

It was a good movie, it wasn't oscar quality though. Its faults are its simplistic storyline and sometimes forced situations. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a decent movie, but it wasn't the best of the year by any means. Either Gangs of New York or The Painst deserve that Oscar in my mind.

I haven't seen this movie because a lot of people were telling me that this movies wasn't worth watching.
Now I think i'm gonna have to actually watch it.

I just didnt like the fact that they gave out to ending right at the beginning of the movie (during the monologue)... I ended up waiting for Tom Hanks to be killed all movie...
