Just watched my first football game in 3D...

...and the 3D haters can kick rocks. Switching from the Texas/BYU game in 3D to the Michigan/Notre Dame in 2D makes me sad.

sports is one thing i'd really like to see in 3D.

when i saw avatar in 3d (my first 3d movie) they showed the preview for this hubble telescope space movie narrated by leo dicaprio. and man, the "live cam" style of filming (like live sporting events, news casts, etc) is what the film was made with, and wow that 3D looked better than anything else I've seen in 3D.

it's kind of how HD looks the most dramatically improved when watching sports over movies (SD movies compared to HD movies, and SD sports compared to HD sports - the difference in sports is just such a bigger leap than movies.

i feel that is how sports would also be.
