Pretty good movie. Story is a bit jumpy especially near the end but it was pretty good.

ANd is it just me, or does Leonardo DeCaprio always have monologues in his movies? 😕

I guess this is not the bash Gangs of New York thread, but I walked out that movie. SO much violence, and slow story. I'd rather watch Finding Nemo any day.

Daniel Day Lewis (spelling?) should have won an Academy Award for that. Something about that Adrien Brody (spelling?) guy just doesn't seem right

are you kidding? It was excellent. I am very happy that they kept alot of the historical data, such as gang names, gang history, the 5 points, etc.

Well... that comes whenever you are dealing with poor people and labor unions. I didn't think it was a bad film, just not one of Scorcese's best.

Priceless, I say

It was alright but it shoulda ended after Leo got his face bashed in. I mean, what the hell was the ponit of the cannon ball landing in the middle of the square scene?

That and I didnt' know who I was supposed to root for...I mean, you wanted Leos group to kind of win but you didn't like seeing what happened to the blacks...I mean if you were against all the rich folk then you were against freeing the blacks too..
