Just watched Barton Fink

I just watched the Coen brothers' Barton Fink. It was stranger than I expected and a little disturbing at the end.

Anyone have any thoughts on what's in the package and whether Barton's parents and uncle are alive?

The wife's head is in the package and the parents and uncle died in a fire at their mansion that was started by Count Olaf.
This movie was the inspiration for Se7en and A Series Of Unfortunate Events.
Who knew?

Yea, its a typical Coen Bros movie, in that nothing is remotely close to normal. Goodman just nails the role, and I'm always happy seeing him in any Coen Bros movie such as Big Lebowski or Raising Arizona (my favorite movie).
