I'm a 20y old male, and I am not ashamed to say I LOVED IT. Smiled during the entire film. And I am also not afraid to say, I watched the whole film by myself with no girls present to alleviate the awkwardness of the situation had it been judged by the rest of society..

Everyone go buy the Blu-ray NOW.

I watched about half of it with my daughter over the weekend. It wasn't bad, but the merging of human and CGI acting didn't seem very smooth. The story was good though.

Mid to late 20s people should like it because of the nostalgia of the old 80s/90s cartoon version.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. What did that record exec guy play in? I know I have seen him somewhere.

I saw a trailer where Theodore pooped on the couch and Alvin covered for Theodore by telling Dave that it was a raisin and put a piece of poop in his mouth. I don't even want to rent it after seeing that...

But that goes back to the fact that we can't have a kid's cartoon/movie without at least one poop or fart joke these days. Now it's getting to the point where the poop and/or fart joke has to get more outlandish to outdo the previous poop and/or fart jokes.

I liked it. I had the first album too, on vinyl. The features were cool with the direction and how they did the voice over at half speed to accelerate to 'chipmunk'.

You just need a little courage then. If you must, call up a neighborhood girl to do the deed.

AND I definately Agree that I'd love to have a pet / "family" of talking chipmunks. They're super cool and talented.

Poop jokes are classic and timeless, because If it's one thing that people make no matter how educated they are it's P00.

The girlfriend wanted to see it a while back so I went with her. I was thoroughly entertained through the whole thing. Not bad at all IMO.

I thought you couldn't get any more lame, but you just had to go ahead and prove me wrong, didn't you?

This was me too. Generally previews and ads use the best material from the movie in question to show me just how great that movie is. If that kind of thing is one of the best jokes in the movie, I'm not interested.

You guys all need to relax a little of that machismo, and truely take in the awesome fuzziness of the chipmunks.
