Good heavens, I love this series.

It's cheesy, and idealistic, but it brings out the desire for exploration... to do something unique, completely unique.

Remember... all good things must come to an end.
 
It wasn't just the season finale. It was also the series finale. Definitely the best Star Trek series ever.
