My young daughter and her cousin came running in the house a minute ago
saying that there was a snake and a mouse in the shop , so I went out and
up in the rafters of the shop there was a king snake that had a mouse
wrapped up and the mouse was squeaking. After a minute or 2 the mouse
got quiet and the snake tried a few times to get it's head in it's mouth and little by
little it finally got it's mouth big enough to take the head in and within 2 or 3 minutes
it has half way down the snake's body. Once he had it down, the snake moved
on down to another spot in the shop. I looked over in the corner and there was
another mouse sitting there watching the whole thing.....so the hunt isn't over
yet :)

I took 25 digital pics of the process, but every stinking one of them is solid black.
I've got to see if I've got camera problems or what!

Pretty good education for the kids to see how snakes get their "big macs". :D

Edit........

It appears my Sony digital camera (DSC-P51) is not working. It powers
up but the viewing lcd doesn't show anything and of course all pictures
taken are solid black.

Paid like $250 for it a year or longer ago....think it's worth sending to get fixed
or throw it away and get a newer one?

Edit again......

I found out the model has a big history of the lcd going black and making black pictures and
most people said they just gave the camera body a sharp rap and the lcd came on and I
popped mine good and it came back on just as they had posted....so NEXT time the
snake gets a mouse MAYBE my camera will work then :)
