Man this was such a close & intense match. It was just a great match! Did anyone else catch it?

About as intense as watching my pubes grow.

It's interesting if you understand all the rules of the game, even better if you actually play the game, because then you understand how hard it can be to play. But if you neither play nor understand it, I can definately understand why you'd find it about as interesting as a box of hair😛

Did anyone else feel bad for the US team?. Especially after Ricky Ponting called Australia's match against them 'worthless', and now there's talk of possibly ruling out inexperienced teams from playing in the ICC cup. I mean yes they did get absolutely thumped by NZ and the aussies, but they had to have gotten some experience from that, so isn't that a good thing?. I'd love to see the US grow into a formidable cricket team sometime in the future, and it's hard to do that if you don't play against some of the best teams in the world.

America has an international cricket team? 😕

please explain the appeal of cricket

Well it's kinda hard to appreciate if you haven't played it or grown up with it. It takes a lot of practice and skill to play (well, properly anyway😛), I mean I've been bowling for 9 years and even I know that I've got a hell of a lot of improving to do. But bowling's probably the hardest skill in cricket to learn, so that's probably why. But in the end it really probably just boils down to taste, I mean I've personally never understood the appeal of gridiron, and that's huge over in America. Maybe someone could explain that to me.

Of course, I would love to see a competitive US cricket team. That would rock, especially because we'd all get to see a lot more Cricket at a lot lower price 😀
