Just washed the car picture thread!!!

Thought it would be amusing to see everyones fresh after detail pics.

Today I clay barred and hand waxed the G35 and the minivan. Both are Obsidian black and turned out fairly well though the rock damage on the nose of the g35 made me want to cry.

I sweated through a washing on Monday and somehow I've avoided the rain for 3 days straight. New record for me this summer. Still pretty clean, due for a fall waxing though.

im afraid that if i wash my civic the remnants of the paint that has managed to stick will come off. my truck needs a wash really bad tho, i may force the kids to do that this weekend. its supposed to rain tho.

Nice custom grill!

Very nice cars all around!

So what do you guys use in between washes? I used to use those armour all touch up wipes that they discontinued a few years back. Now I use whats ever on sale. Any all around faves?

Thank you for the comments on my G as well!

Lovely G37 you have there!

What mods have you done?

I am thinking of emblem less grill and paddle shifters to start then a modest cat back and intake.

His exhaust tips look larger than normal, and something looks unusual about the brakes/wheels size combination.

Ark Grip Dual cat-back exhaust.
lowered on Eibachs (coilovers next year)
a few other minor items like tint, Nismo shift knob, midnight grill, front strut bar

the brakes/wheels are OEM for the "S" but I do have some Volk RE30 that are going on in the spring along with Hotchki sway bars.

What did the Eibachs run you and what did it do to the ride? Now I do understand that lowering does incur some harshness.

I most worry about destroying the tires and rest of suspension but I would assume that a small drop with correct camber wouldnt deviate that much from stock.

I am also very interested to hear how the sways effects feel since I feel a little unsettled in my G when cornering.

Great Car you have there! Mine will be kitted out as a highway cruisier since its principle job will be long work or fun trips for the wife and I so I cant mess too much with whats already a good thing at this point.

The Eibachs were about $225 and $150 for the install. The ride is a little (15%) rougher than the stock "S". There is no "bounce" if that is a concern.

Most people do say their rear camber is within specs for the front and rear but I did get new rear camber arms and toe bolts since mine was out.

I have heard the sway bars make a big difference but I won't know until spring.

winter wheels on the evo, but none-the-less an after a wash pic of my two fun cars... don't mind the grass; we had a long, snowy winter and this was taken late march just after the snow cleared.
