A little scary to have them just a few feet away, but quite neat none the less. :)

Ok ok, I'm not a hunter. I have no idea how deer act when approached by humans, but they didn't move until I was about 10 feet from them. As stated below, I've seen the obligatory hunter getting beat down by a deer video so that's why I'm a little leery.

Yep. Suburb of Cleveland. We're pretty close to a big park, probably where they are coming from.

No kidding. It's a bunch of does. If you make even the slightest move, they will run for the hills......

After seeing a couple of those "When Animals Attack" shows, I don't feel like getting my ass kicked by a deer. :D

I grew up in Cleveland (Willoughby, Ohio & also near West Side Market in Cleveland). But can't say I've seen deer like that before.

I was walking with a buddy down the block a few months ago and a buck literally jumped through someones yard and bowled my friend over. It was amusing.

Im pretty sure you are not allowed to kill female dear.

Depends on the stare/area, but yes, you are ..........

Here in WI you are encouraged to tag does. Buck tags are much more limited.

Back home (at college now) I get to see deer nearly every day. Other than hunting season, that is. We have a great view, and a large pond that the deer love. Central MN.

Let's see..they've walked right up to our windows, I've had two brush up against me while walking down to the end of the driveway (it was dawn so I could barely see them..don't know why they didn't see me though), and I've had many get very close to me.

Not scared of them at all, although I wouldn't want to be caught in a fight between two of them. I was more scared of the half-wolf half-dog that used to live in our woods (that my very small dog got in a fight with and lived - she's amazing, lost her tail though) and the cougars that have been in there. One once growled at my mom while she was picking up my dog's puppies in the woods (long story).

So now you all know about all of the weird wildlife that seems to come to my house. Yay.
