Well.... bought a HAF 932 as an upgrade from my Xaser III (How I love thee but you were getting old). While everything was out I decided to lap my TRUE (My q9450 was actually not in need of a lap). And while I was at it I did the washer mod (Increases pressure on the CPU) and replaced the northbridge/southbridge TIM with ceramique.

Results?

-13C average drop in CPU temps and the TIM hasn't even set 🙂

That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
 
don't you mean cool and breezy? inside your case, that is... i am just too lazy to lap them things anymore... just stuck my bb on sale hc50 on my blackfriday frys i750 rig and it's running 200x20 around 70c...

hehhe on that note my CPU temps and mobo power circuitry temps fell more than 10*C by switching from Thermaltake Soprano:

Before my Core i7 860 was loading 68-72*C. Now I am at 58-62*C. 🙂
