Ok lets say I have a pic that is 25 k.

Let me say that I estimate this pic will get downloaded 20,000 times in two days.

My math says that this will amount to 500,000k of bandwidth - or rougly a little under half a gigabyte, right?

I've got 3 gigs a month of bandwidth, and I want to enter a FARK photoshop contest - so I just wanted to make sure this sounded right.

Yes, a GB is roughly 1,000,000 K (a little less if hard drive listed capacity, a little more if RAM).

Are you looking for simple math help? ;)

25k x 1024 = 25600

25600 x 20000 = 512000000

512000000 / 1024 = 500000k = 1/2 a gig (a lot of providers also play the rounding game and count K as 1000 instead of 1024).
