Doesn't this seem slightly odd? I thought they were mandated to check ID's, my country election website said I need two forms of ID..but they didn't ask for anything.

I was never checked for ID either. Then again, there's only roughly 800 registered voters in my town, so I don't think they are overly concerned.

Back in OH they always have, but in PA they don't (you just sign your name). The legislature of PA was going to pass a bill that would require ID before voting, but the Democrats shot the bill down because they claimed that it discriminated against people who didn't have ID's.

With the PITA it is to vote once, why would you bother to vote a second time?

depends on where you are

where i lived in new york from 92-98 , small town, they never asked for ID, everybody knew everybody, or at least the old folks working the polls viewed it that way, even though they didn't know me, so they just asked your name and had you sign next to it and then gave you a ballot

Here we fill out a slip with our name and adress and sign the slip. We then give the slip to a person who looks up the information and asks you if you are who you are and that your address is correct. They put an X beside your name and you are free to vote.

It's actually because the Democrats want everyone supporting them to vote twice. They also want all the illegal immigrants to vote.

They didn't check IDs at my location this morning either.
Not allowed to check IDs? They should be required to check IDs. How can you have anything close to a fair election if I can just look up names in the phonebook and vote at different locations all day (until I pick somebody who has already voted at least).

Well there list would only include registered voters, so you would have to pick a registered voter who had not voted yet. Still doable, though.

That's in CA. In IL, IDs are supposed to be required. Remember, there are 50 separate states with sepaparte laws in this country :)

And the Republicans support purging 90,000 legitimate votes off the registration rolls.
