Just called comcast and they were able to do it right over the phone, within 10 minutes i had tested speeds of 5080/680 from 2800/298 with my cable modem.

total bill for internet - 52.95/month

Saint Paul, MN here. that is the price for the 4000/3xx. i thought 10 more a month is worth the doubled upload speed
 
Wow, I would have to download a TON of stuff to make that worth it. I just don't download many big files. And for even medium sized files, 50-100mb, you're talking about a difference of seconds.

I get 4.6mb for $30 a month.
 
I have 5/1 for $40 Cdn...cept that i am gonna have to switch to DSL since for some reason (long long story) my connection is fucked.
 
I have to agree that it's not really worth the $10 a month if you don't actually use the bandwidth. I don't need more than 3 down really, and they are upgrading for free to 4. I payed for 1.5 to be honest. The upload wouldn't mean squat to me unless it was 1.5 or higher.
