Hi
I just upgraded my computer with the CUSL2-C. I did a clean install of Windows98 SE, the Intel chipset drivers and ATA drivers
All went well but when I check in the Device Manager under my hard drive (which is a Maxtore Ultra ATA 100) there is no box for the option of enable DMA like it was under my other motherboard.
Any ideas ?

Per Paragraph 8.8 of the Intel 800 Series Chipset Family "Common System Configuration Issues Using the Intel Ultra ATA Storage Driver and Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility" Manual dated June 2000, that is suppose to happen. Don?t worry. Everything is fine.:D

Hello...

When you installed the ATA 100 drivers that will either gray out or remove your DMA check box. Not to worry, Ultra DMA is enabled.
