Just upgraded my cellphone, but am having questions

I just upgraded my Verizon Wireless Plan, which gave me the option to upgrade my phone at the discounted price. As a preface, I started with a LG VX1. Now, this phone was not satisfactory to me. It had poor reception, and was heavy. Today, I picked up a Motorola T720. I have not had enough time to test it, but after I googled it, I have found people who say it is a horrible phone, and I should go to the LG VX4400. Now, I turn to ATOT to help me. I have a 15 day satisfaction guarantee from Verizon. I will test it and make my own decision, but what does ATOT suggest? Stick with the T720, or go to the VX4400. The 4400 is cheaper, but I don't care (only like 20 bucks). Please don't take the price into consideration when you tell me. I want to know a reason (battery life, weight, screen size, sound quality, etc...). Thanks for the help in advance.

I have the T720, not much problems as of yet. The battery life is pretty crappy tho, you might want to get the extended battery.

Reception is average.

I had an LG-TM510 previously on Verizon and it was awesome. Reception, battery life, etc...

I've got the T720. I haven't had any major complaints about it so far. It's got more features than I'll ever use. Menu's are laid out fairly well once you get used to them. It's a light phone, and I get good battery life (I don't talk a lot though).
