Just upgraded from a 9700 pro to a x1950xtx, have a question

So I upgraded and I'm waiting for everything to install so in the meantime I'm looking around the internet and pictures, colors, and other things look... well... different? I can't really explain it but it looks better. What is the reason for this? Am I just excited about the upgrade?

I just upgraded also. Does your card fan speed look slow? Is the speed controlled by something? Mine never speeds up.

Hehe well, I thought it might just be me 😀 ICTech, I do recall when I had the case apart the fan didn't seem to be going full power. I have the ATI utility going and the it's little temp gauge says it's on the cool side, so I guess I'm not goign to worry about it unless it starts overheating

Well I decided to request an exchange on mine from NewEgg. I'm having display problems that I never saw on my old card so that helped me make a decision.
